Larry Roberts - Charter President

The Cornbelt Chapter of AMBUCS was chartered on November 18, 1982, with 32 members.  From the beginning we focused on community service by building wheelchair ramps, giving AmTrykes (Therapeutic Tricycles), and scholarships for therapists.

The first Installation Banquet to charter the chapter was help on December 4, 1982, at Central Station in downtown Bloomington.  The AMBUCS motto has always been, “Shoulders Together”.
